Dance is our passion.

BreakFree was founded by Laura Romeo ‘09 and Soojeong Son ‘09 in 2006 and began as a club that offered free dance classes to the Cornell community. Their passion for dance was contagious, and BreakFree soon expanded to include a performance group that specializes in open-style choreography with the help of Johna Seo ’11 and Andrew Kim ’12. BreakFree has been featured in USA Today, the UK Daily Mail, The Huffington Post, and the Cornell Daily Sun. We continue to abide by our founding principle: Dance to Inspire.
